This series is a narrative series demonstrating the fluidity of internalizing gender dynamics in order to survive colonial oppression via gender binaries in Latinx culture. In collaboration with the mask artist Basqo this series uses a same sex couple, a tired man, a grandmother and granddaughter with the narratives of Basqo's masks to demonstrate how women weaponizing masculinity make the "fiery tropes" of Latin culture, dimensional, instead of avoidant and fatigued.
